Thomas P. Pohmer, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of P.C. Richard & Son, has spent his life on Long Island. He attended East Meadow High School and continued his education at The State University of NY at Albany, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and then his MBA (Finance) from Hofstra University. Early on in his career Tom also achieved the Certified Management Accountant designation.

Tom has enjoyed being CFO at P.C. Richard & Son, and hit his 27th anniversary this year! Being in a family business has offered Tom the opportunity to be involved, not only in accounting, finance, administration and management information systems, but also to work closely with management and employees in all aspects of the business. He has particularly enjoyed the culture and values the company and its 2900 employees represent in its 67 showrooms serving Long Island, the Five Boroughs of New York City, Westchester, Rockland County, New Jersey, Connecticut, and North East Philadelphia.

Tom and his wife, Susan, live in Garden City, New York, and enjoy spending time with their family. They have three children and four grandchildren. Their two daughters, Nicole O'Grady and Carolyn Borys, live in the New York Metropolitan area, and their son, Tom, lives in Boston. Tom's outside interests include golfing, boating, and an occasional ride on his Harley Motorcycle.

Diana Cecchini is CFO/VP of Finance at Korg USA, a national distributor of musical instruments and music products. A 28-year veteran of the company, Ms. Cecchini is responsible for directing all financial strategy, planning, forecasts and acquisitions, as well as overseeing all company accounting, HR, financial, and credit activities. Additionally, she is a Corporate Officer of Korg USA in the position of Secretary, as well as a Trustee of Korg USA sponsored Pension and 401k employee benefit plans.

Ms. Cecchini is a CPA and holds a MBA from Hofstra University. An active community service volunteer, she also serves on the board of directors of Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank, a Long Island-area charity in the position of Treasurer as well as serves as the Chairperson of the Women in Leadership for Hofstra University.

Vincent Palazzolo has been the Chief Financial Officer of CPI Aerostructures, Inc. since May 2004 and it's Secretary since March 2008. Mr. Palazzolo was the Long Island Business News 2011 Chief Financial Officer of the Year for the category, Public Companies with revenue less than $50 million. In addition, in 2013 Mr. Palazzolo was the IMA Long Island Chapter's 2013 Milton Zipper Financial Executive of the Year recipient.

Prior to joining CPI, Mr. Palazzolo was an Audit Partner at the accounting firms, J.H. Cohn LLP and Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP. In this role, he worked in all aspects of the firm's audit practice, specifically SEC reporting and compliance. Mr. Palazzolo has extensive experience working with manufacturing and distribution companies, as well as corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He also served as a Managing Director of American Express Tax and Business Services, Inc.

Mr. Palazzolo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Hofstra University, is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

He is the President of Arnold Standard Cos., a Management Consulting Firm established more than 45 years ago, specializing in enhancing the bottom line. He is also a licensed insurance broker and serves as President of Arnold Standard Risk Services, Inc. Bob dedicates more than 60 hours to continuing education seminars and events throughout the year, in subjects relevant to the services he renders, including accounting and financial management, insurance and risk management, labor and employment law, human resources management and cyber security. He also maintains a vast professional network of subject matter experts who also deliver cost-effective value.

Bob serves the business community through his dedicated involvement with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), where he is an active member of the Board, and Past President of the Long Island Chapter. In addition, he is a Past President of the IMA Metropolitan New York Regional Council.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science, with majors in both Finance and Marketing, from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU. Prior to that, he received his A.S. in Business Administration from Nassau Community College, where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.





Our meeting schedule for the 2018 - 2019 year has been set. The monthly Dinner Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of every month. Our first dinner is set for September 11, 2018. The cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm followed by dinner.
