Paul is a partner, providing accounting, tax, business valuation, and consulting services to closely-held and family-owned businesses in various industries. He works closely with clients and owners, providing them with the necessary information they require to help their companies grow, including financing, retirement planning, succession planning, budgeting, and forecasts. Paul has extensive experience in other diversified areas such as real estate, contractors, manufacturing, health care, wholesale distribution, and retail.
Previously, Paul was a partner at Gettry Marcus, CPA, P.C. which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens College. He is a Certified Public Account in the State of New York and a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Mary is a tax partner and co-leader of the Trust and Estates Practice with over 25 years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in all facets of wealth transfer planning, including estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, charitable planning, fiduciary income taxes, foreign trust reporting, cross-border planning, and business succession planning. Her clients include high net worth individuals and corporate executives across various industries.
The scope of Mary's current work includes all phases of estate and gift tax planning, including advising multinational high net worth individuals and trustees, and advising closely-held business owners regarding wealth preservation strategies.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Mary was most recently a director of personal finance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Skidmore College and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. She is a member of the American Bar, New York State Bar, and New York City Bar.

He advises clients in connection with corporate organizations and reorganizations; sales and acquisitions of businesses; corporate distributions, redemptions, liquidations and spin-offs; shareholder and buy-sell agreements; partnership organizations, agreements, reorganizations, distributions, and other transactions; real estate sales, exchanges and operations; executive deferred compensation arrangements; estate and succession planning, including the transfer of business interests, and estate and gift tax audits; New York business tax issues; charitable giving; tax-exempt organizations; private foundations; and not-for-profit restructuring.

Max is a director in the firm’s Audit and Attest Practice and is based out of the Long Island office. He has 10 years of experience performing a wide range of services for business entities primarily in the manufacturing and distribution space.
Max provides accounting, audit, and consulting services to private clients in a number of specialized industries. He has performed audits and reviews for beverage wholesalers, importers, manufacturers, construction contractors, professional sports franchises, hedge funds, commercial real estate entities, and employee benefit plans. His client service experience ranges from audits and reviews to buy- and sell-side due diligence engagements, deal structuring, and estate planning.
Previously, Max was a senior audit manager at Berdon LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023. Prior to joining Berdon, Max was a manager at Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP in Garden City, New York where he gained dual experience in both audit and tax, assisting a wide range of privately-held business entities and their owners with everything from corporate audits to personal income tax compliance.
Max earned his Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
