Shannon Mashburn is the President of HR Xpress, a Human Resources outsourcing solution for businesses seeking on-call HR consultation services including recruiting and staffing, project management, and customized leadership and development training offerings. Shannon has over 25 years of human resource workforce optimization experience including talent acquisition, change management, culture transformation and leadership coaching.

Prior to forming her own consulting company, Shannon was the Director of Human Resources for Alcott HR, a professional employer organization (PEO) where she assisted 500+ businesses in a variety of industries with their HR needs. Before joining Alcott, Shannon worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years, most recently serving as a First Vice President and the Director of Talent Acquisition for New York Community Bank where she oversaw a team of 20 HR professionals in the bank's multi-state footprint overseeing staffing and retention initiatives in alignment with the bank's organizational strategic goals.

Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from SUNY College at Old Westbury and has a Masters in Science degree from SUNY Stony Brook in Human Resource Management. Shannon is also an adjunct faculty member for the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) where she teaches the SHRM Learning System to HR professionals seeking to obtain Human Resources certification.

An active member of the Society for Human Resource Management Long Island chapter since 2004, Shannon currently serves on three committees including Professional Development, Certification, and Workforce Readiness. In 2007 Shannon was qualified by the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and in 2014 obtained certification from SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional, SHRM-SCP. In 2010 Shannon also began to support young careerists by providing generational mentoring through the Moxxie Mentoring Foundation and has served as a Board Member since 2016.

Laura Vetere is the President & Executive Recruiter of LV Staffing Associates, Inc. This woman-owned, boutique staffing agency caters to the needs of a select client list, and areas of specialty are complete outsourced recruitment services, along with the traditional temporary and permanent placement services. LV Staffing Associates, Inc. partners with other experienced independent recruiters and has made many successful placements with these trusted colleagues for over a decade.

After graduating with her bachelor's degree in business management, Laura gained experience in both the accounting and legal professions, prior to starting her career as a recruiter working for Robert Half. Entering the recruiting industry during the economic downturn of 2007 provided for many valuable lessons, exposing both the highs and lows in the industry, and was instrumental in laying the ground work for Laura's continued success. It was this economic climate that led Laura to develop the complete outsourced recruitment model within an agency setting, as a solution to those companies in the small and mid-level markets that were being under-serviced.

Over the past decade Laura has built strong relationships with both clients and candidates and has seen the many different factors that affect recruitment. As a very busy working mother of two youngsters, Laura takes extreme pride in her profession and has the utmost integrity in everything that she does.

Laura has previously served as the Co-Chair of the SHRM LI Membership Committee, and achieved award winning growth for the chapter, recognized by the national organization. In addition, she served as a Volunteer Coordinator for the SHRM LI Annual Conference 4 years in a row

Lisa Smith is Chief Executive Officer of LS Clark Executive Search and HRPO Solutions, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for strengthening the talent acquisition performance, recruitment branding and marketing presence for a multi-disciplinary client base. LS Clark offers two pronged approach as the firm also operates as a Managed Services Organization for Human Resources. She and her team serve as external Human Resources consultants who are results oriented with a solid grasp on the industries in which they serve.

Prior to forming LS Clark, Lisa held a number of executive level Human Resources positions with Citigroup, Neuberger Berman, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Public Service Enterprise Group, and The Institute for Student Achievement over a 25-year career. These positions included VP of Human Resources, Director of Human Resources, Senior HR Business Partner and Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition Strategy & Diversity Outreach. After attending Bernard Baruch College, very early in her career she also worked as a Compensation Analytics Manager with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Ms. Smith formed LS Clark in 2000 and operates in the New York Tri-State area and other major markets.

Lisa is a strong advocate for children's educational initiatives and is an active member with the Society of Human Resources Management both national and the NYC / Long Island Chapters. Additionally she coaches the youth and business ethics program for her church. Lisa resides on Long Island with her husband and two children.
