Brad Caracciola

Co-founder and CEO of Ground Force Logistics

Brad Caracciola is co-founder and CEO of Ground Force Logistics, a non-asset-based freight and logistics brokerage firm, and CEO of Ground Force Freight, an asset-based trucking company with a focus on the inland transportation of ocean and rail containers. Brad is also Managing Member of CargoHorse, a web-based platform which provides a marketplace for Less-Than-Truckload shippers to manage, shop for rates with dozens of Carriers, and book shipments instantly online, 24/7.

After leaving his job as an equity trader, in 2005, Brad began his career in the freight industry by arranging for the movement of shipments while in a small Farmingdale office with his partner (and brother), Tom. In 2012, he facilitated merger with another freight brokerage firm, bringing on a third partner, while expanding the expertise of the team and the service offerings to customers. Looking to vertically integrate, in 2014, Brad and his team acquired the assets of a New Jersey based trucking firm, and Ground Force Freight was created. Since then, Brad has helped lead the companies to year over year growth while developing technology, like an online Drayage Rater, the CargoHorse platform, and other web-based tools. In late 2019, He and Tom acquired the shares of the third partner, and have aggressive 2020 growth plans.

Brad serves on the board of the Long Island Elite as well as Harbor Child Care, and lives in Nassau county with his wife and three children.
