Danielle Tricolla

Danielle E. Tricolla is a Partner at Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP. As a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, Ms. Tricolla handles a variety of business disputes and commercial litigation matters, including corporate dissolution and shareholder derivative actions, contract disputes, real property actions, regulatory compliance issues and employment claims.
Ms. Tricolla co-chairs the firm’s Cannabis practice group. Having extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry, she works closely with cannabis businesses to provide general day-to-day legal and business counseling, and assists her clients with risk management, dispute resolution and compliance issues. Ms. Tricolla represents both well-established cannabis businesses and start-ups at every level of the supply chain, including cultivators, processors, retail businesses and ancillary businesses.
In 2017, Ms. Tricolla was selected as a recipient of the “30 Under 30” Award from Long Island Business News and was selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star list. She was included in Long Island Business News’ “Ones to Watch” in 2016. Ms. Tricolla has been published in the New York Real Estate Journal and the Nassau Lawyer and was spotlighted in New York Real Estate Journal’s “Women in Real Estate”.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Tricolla was a law clerk at a New York City law firm and a legal intern in the Legal and Business Affairs department at Discovery Communications.

Jill specializes in tax consulting, compliance, transaction structuring, and representation, advising on tax minimization and deferral strategies for companies and their owners. She is skilled at identifying tax and credit incentive opportunities such as research & development, work opportunity, and investment tax credits. She also advises on tax ramifications prior to potential transactions and has successfully assisted clients in the abatement of IRS and state penalties.
A recognized expert in the cannabis industry, Jill supports companies with technology solutions, tax planning, and relationship building within the sector. She actively shares her knowledge through frequent speaking engagements and teaches classes on tax, technical, and professional ethics for continuing education to CPAs.
Jill serves on the Board of the Long Island Capital Alliance (LICA) and the Executive Finance Committee of the Tesla Science Center. She previously served as a Director on the Board of the Nassau Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs. Jill holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Taxation from the State University of New York at Albany.

Peter is a banking executive with 20+ years of experience across the banking and financial services spectrum. He has personally spearheaded cannabis banking programs as team lead at multiple banks, and has acted as a consultant to dozens of other FIs banking cannabis across the country.
An active member of the cannabis industry, Peter is currently on the executive board of the Asian Cannabis Roundtable, serving as treasurer. He is an executive member of the Cannabis Collective. And, he is an advisory council member for the Minority Cannabis Academy. Additionally, he writes about the cannabis industry for Rolling Stone on the Rolling Stone Cannabis Culture Council.
Previously, he also held a position as an advisory panel board member for Pace University's Lubin School of Business. As well as served as a member of the Banking & Financial Services Committee for the National Cannabis Industry Association. And, he is a veteran of the United States Army.
