Roy S. Ryniker

Roy S. Ryniker is a transformational Senior Executive who combines his strategic, operational and financial skills to grow the value of a business. Both as President of several middle market companies and as a turnaround consultant/CRO, he has worked with management teams redefining a vision for the organization, and then executing on a plan that significantly grew profitability. Several of these businesses were successfully sold as part of the turnaround strategy. Roy is an expert in both out-of-court restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings.

Roy’s experience includes working with all stakeholders: Board members, management, staff, equity holders, creditors, union representatives and government regulatory members.

Currently Roy is President of the Reorganization Alternatives Group, Ltd. where he provides turnaround consulting, interim management and profitability growth services to under-performing companies. Roy’s education includes an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude in economics, from Harvard University and an MBA in finance and accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Roy is experienced as an Independent Director for various size organizations. For example, his governance expertise includes being a member of the Audit & Corporate Compliance Committee for NYU Winthrop Hospital (annual revenues $1.5 billion) from 2016 to 2019.

He is the President of Arnold Standard Cos., a Management Consulting Firm established more than 50 years ago, specializing in enhancing the bottom line. He is also a licensed insurance broker and serves as President of Arnold Standard Risk Services, Inc., as well as President of ASI Recruiters, Inc.

Bob dedicates more than 60 hours a year to continuing education in subjects including accounting and finance, insurance and risk management, labor and employment law, HR management and cyber security.

Bob serves the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), as a member of the Board, and Past President of the Long Island Chapter. He is a Past President of the IMA Metropolitan New York Regional Council. He also serves on the NYS Society of CPAs CFO and Member in Industry Committees (Nassau & Suffolk), as well as the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Metropolitan NY Chapter.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science, with majors in both Finance and Marketing, from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU.
